Your GCSE Physics qualification is assessed by two equally weighted exam papers in the summer of Year 11. The content is the same across the examination boards, in other words you don’t need to worry whether you’re sitting Edexcel or AQA etc.

We therefore offer two revision courses to cover the entire GCSE specification. Each course is tailor made around the specified topics.

  • You will join a lesson of up to 10 students. We ask you to have your video on but your microphone muted for the teaching phases. Seeing faces really does make the teacher’s job much easier!

  • The teaching phases will include worked examples. This will both consolidate understanding and show how to best approach certain types of question
  • Despite the competitive price, students can regularly check their understanding. We use advanced ‘progress checker’ questions*, with the multiple choice answers fed live to the teacher, to enable the teacher to efficiently gauge understanding on-the-fly. They will then change tack if necessary.

Matthew B completed his BSc Physics at the University of Bristol. Following a stint at Cambridge University, he has just started a part-time MSc Space Engineering at Surrey University. He is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society (FRAS).

When not running Bayliss Tuition, he enjoys making model steam engines in his cosy, albeit cluttered, home workshop. He also attempts to salsa dance.
